of Joint & Several Liability Passes Senate Judiciary

Today the Senate Judiciary committee passed SB 2006
By Senator Dan Webster, dealing with the repeal of joint &
Several liability, on a vote of 5-3. The bill has no other committee
references so it is headed to the Senate floor for a final vote.
Last week the House passed it’s bill dealing with this subject
(HB 145) on a vote of 97 -23.
Those voting for the bill are: Baker, Clary, Posey, Webster and Villalobos
Those voting against the bill are: Aronberg, Campbell and Geller
