Candidate Interviews, held each election year, provide our PC members with the opportunity to meet the many new faces running for office around the state and begin their working relationship with those being elected to office. Along with face-to-face meetings with the candidates, the AIF political staff provides key analyses and data designed to educate members on the nuances of each candidate and district.
As a members of the AIF Political Council you would be entitled to attend our Candidate Interviews.
This year, AIFPC members will receive an in-depth briefing of the candidates’ districts, campaign finance, and political performance, as well as recent poll data in select races to provide a fuller understanding of the situation in those districts. Our briefing book will be complete with candidate bios along with our own intelligence data that we will gather, independent of the candidate.
Our format will focus on the actual interview with the candidate, rather than the questionnaire. While we will still send a questionnaire to the candidates with a few broad business issue questions, it will be used primarily to gather information for biographical purposes.
Additionally, attendees will be afforded an opportunity to interact with the candidates.
