Boca Raton, Fl and New York, NY - Associated Industries Insurance Services, Inc. (AIIS) and AmTrust Financial Group, Inc. (AmTrust) have jointly announced that they have formed a long-term partnership, whereby AIIS will be the exclusive representative for AmTrust’s workers’ compensation policies in Florida.

AmTrust is a privately held, national insurance holding company, founded in 1981. AmTrust specializes in writing workers’ compensation insurance and has an A.M. Best rating of A- (Excellent). AmTrust Financial Group owns and operates several insurance carriers. In Florida, AmTrust will write workers’ compensation policies through Technology Insurance Company, Inc., which is domiciled in New Hampshire.

AIIS will exclusively provide underwriting, marketing, loss control and claim services for AmTrust in Florida. AIIS will distribute the insurance policies for AmTrust through its network of contracted independent agents throughout Florida. AIIS will continue to manage Associated Industries Insurance Company (AIIC), which also specializes in workers’ compensation.

Barry D. Zyskind, President of AmTrust, stated that, “We have been considering entering the Florida market for some time and we are ready to make a major commitment for many years to come because we found the right partner in Associated Industries”.

Workers’ compensation policies written by AmTrust Insurance companies will be available through AIIS immediately. Policies are sold only through licensed insurance agents who are contracted with AIIS. Agents should contact their AIIS Marketing Directors and/or Underwriters for further information.
